Sol Senior Services is a member of the National Association of Senior & Specialty Move Managers (NASMM) — the international body that sets the professional standard for senior and specialty move management.
What membership requires
- Completion of NASMM's Cornerstone Courses in safety and ethics
- Verified liability insurance coverage
- An active professional practice in senior move management
- Signing and adhering to NASMM's code of conduct
What it means for your family
NASMMmembership means Sol has been vetted against an independent professional standard — not just our own. The designation “Senior Move Manager®” is a protected term that NASMM owns. Most moving companies advertising to seniors in Winnipeg are not entitled to use it.
When you hire Sol, you're hiring a team that has completed the coursework, carries the required insurance, and has signed a code of ethics you can hold us to — not a standard moving company that added a “seniors” service line.
Bonded, insured, and WCB covered
Sol Senior Services carries full moving insurance, is bonded, and is covered by the Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba. Every team member is an in-house Sol employee — not a subcontractor — in Sol uniforms, on Sol trucks.
When someone hands us the keys to their mother's house, they should be able to verify our credentials against a standard that isn't just our own word for it.
